He has spent the past six years dedicated to exploring and climbing the local area and is excited to share it with you.
Why we do it.
Ascend Climbing School was born from a need.
Rock climbing is a fast growing sport, and most of the growth is happening in indoor climbing facilities. New climbers are making huge gains in physical strength and mental fortitude and eventually look to take the next step into outdoor climbing. Climbing outdoors, however, presents a need for a much larger skill set.
That's where we step in.
We LOVE to rock climb. So much that we have dedicated ourselves to your success. We want to give our surrounding community the opportunity to try this sport, and we want to make sure that all climbers are properly equipped and trained to handle the sport in its entirety. We hope to facilitate responsible growth through proper risk management procedures, Leave No Trace principles, and a continued dialogue on outdoor ethics. Your success is our success, which benefits our community, our crags, and the growth of this captivating sport.
